I have a leak, so I took a peek to see where the rain was coming in.
I pulled the cowl and took a towel to clean thing up a bit.
From what I could see there was no debis that would impede the water from draining.
So I put the cowl back and took of my hat to cool my head while I'm thinkin
Then I lit up a smoke and took a good toke and that was it for the day
Next morning I rose and put on my clothes, up to the barn I was going today
Pulled the kick panel out but still had my doubts about where the water was flowin
turned on the hose and checked for some flow and see where the water was going
Saw some water come in to the air chamber thing which is just in front of the door
squirting under under the glass wher the cowl pins go in i get water on my floor
So I ask for a fix before my rig looks like this just another rusty ****.

Not sure what got in to me there. :dunno:
I did try to keep it "clean", not sure why.

Short story is that water is leaking, I can't find any blockage, and if I squirt water near the hole on the pass side where the pin on the cowl goes into a slot below the windshield. I see water in the chamber where the fan sucks air ( with flapper removed). Most looks like it is running into some type of channel that puts the water on the inside of the outer fender or maybe that's part of the cab...but some just drips down and comes in around the seal for the kick panel vent thingy. Do I just need a new gasket for the kick panel vent thingy? And what's the correct term for that so I can google it?
