OK... any money I spend is going towards my Blazer.

I recently traded for the below "pickup". I am into it for basically nothing. I want to keep it as close to that as possible.

I am going to use the one tons from my Blazer under it. When I do that I want to add some lift to it. Ultimately want to fit 39.5 Boggers.

How can I get 4" of lift as close to free as possible? No body lift.

I don't understand. Can you just use the lift on the white truck? It has something, not sure what lift though.

Close to free? Craigslist.
Free? 5 finger discount :(

Why no body lift? Just weld 4" chunks of pipe up the whole frame to the body.... Done, seen lots of hillbillys do it up here:D

Sure looks like there is some kinda lift on it.

52s in front.
im still running stock driveshaft.
im assuming crossover is going on from your tons
make a shackle flip for rear. ( i just torched a slot out of the bottom of my stock setup and plated the top. Or get a pair of rear front hangars if you have parts)

there is your free 4 inches assuming you have a pair of 52s or 56s floating around.

I even wheeled for months with 52s with the stock shackle and it flexed pretty good

move front hangers to forward position via rivits poped and move and rebolt . then longer shackles to help with longer springs.

then home brew flip the back .

ya its cheep but proven to work if on major budget.

No i would never do that :haha: Its the only free lift Ive ever seen done.

and to answer your question to his already stated NO BODY LIFT if you read as much as you seem to post here :doah: he said in his other thread on this new toy the body is major rusty and patched up a bit.

so a body lift would = bad times for install and structural suport.

pay attention its free and think before you post.

SORRY to orignal poster for rant.

Yes i read it therefore the "why no body lift" question. Is it a crime to throw ideas out? :dunno: Only "free" lift I know of, didnt say he should do it....

 he dont want one. some guys like most dont. plane as that.

also my responce is to the fact of how you said to do it. go reserch body lift home made stuff here and read up on major safty problems with it that way. and i have a friend who had a close friend die years ago from a home made job like that.

ya stock 52 with moving stock front forward were it back few years ago before kirt 1-up'ed it with the b-52 kits.

If the body was in great shape, I would do a small body lift. But that's not the case.

Plus, with this truck... it's a trail rig and not just mud. In fact, it will only see mud it's on the trail.

5" springs?

I know I could search... and I will. But, for the time being, what years for the 52s?

Home brew shackle flip in the rear sounds perfect.
