FREE '7747 350 TBI Performance Timing Table

Personally I'm getting out of the '7747 ECM business. The '7747 is a good ECM, but the 93~95 GM Pickup TBI PCM is just as cheap as the '7747 but is much better because it's a faster processor and has more tuning ability!!!

But can the 93-95 ECM be swapped into the place of the 7747 without major issues??

I replaced a '7747 and posted the information on the thread here: http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=270253

The newer 93 ~ 95 TBI PCM needs a VSS! That may, or may not be a major issue? If the vehicle already has a factory VSS and factory '7747 like the 87 GMC I did the conversion to, it's an easy conversion.

I need to let everyone know that this TunerPro timing table is using the latest '7747 .xdf from the TunerPro website. There are several different '7747 .xdf files available on the internet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Depending on which .xdf being used, the TunerPro timing table will look different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use at your own risk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dave, would this timing table work with a stick?

I have not used this timing table on a manual trans, but I see no reason it would not work for a manual trans. The timing needs to be set to ZERO. The TunerPro timing table is the same timing table shown at the beginning of this tread using TunerCats. What is different about the TunerPro version (.XDF) is the "Main Spark Advance Bias" 9.8 degrees is added into spark table.

I've noticed the timing table is not friendly for pickups used for heavy towing, more than 8,000 GVW. Something else to mention is by "Washington State Law" all gasoline fuel grades contain 10% ethanol. So what I'm saying is every vehicle I've used this timing table on, has ethanol in the fuel. Works well with 87 octane unleaded. Some areas I've visited, have 85 octane unleaded, so in those areas I use a grade of fuel that is at least 87 octane.

Well I swapped in this table into my BIN last night to give it a try and WOW! its like a whole new truck! This really woke it up. I always felt like it wanted more timing and I was right this helped a bunch. Oh, it does work well with a stick. I'm using the BIN that you clued me into earlier (ASDW) with this timing table and the only other thing modified is the IAC vs Temp. Its running really great now! Thanks....
