{FREE} Parts fairy visited today!

Most bizarre thing just happened. A guy just drove up to my house and offered me a bunch of parts. He said, "I've noticed your truck out here, so I figured I'd stop. I used to be into Chevy trucks but I've recently gotten out of it. I've still got some stuff laying around and my wife is asking me to clear it out. You wanna come by and see if you want this stuff?"

So I was guessing I'd find a bunch of worthless parts that no one could use. Instead, this guy produces a TH400/208 combo and a set of 3/4 ton axles (a 14b and what looks like a 44/corp. 10b). He even claims that the rear axle has 4.56s and a detroit! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif I've already claimed the 400/208 so they would be out of his garage... all I have to do is head over there with the trailer and pickup the axles. Can't wait to peels the covers off and see what I really have!

Anyways, just had to share. Can't believe that I just cracked my old 400 case, and now this guy drops another in my lap for free. /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Funny thing is, he lives just around the block from me not more than 2 minutes from my house. Never really ever noticed him there!

Dan doesn't need a detroit for a 14 bolt, he has a welded D70.

Hell if I were him I'd slap that 4.56 stuff under the burban. I know if I could get 4.56s in my tow rig for free I'd be much happier.
