As long as they are straight and not dinged up you can clean them up . Don't try to remove the rust and leave the paint , just strip them and get some new paint on there .

I have stacks of those from when I had ralley's , every time I dinged one I swapped it out with another :thumb:

I don't think you'll get all of it with a wheel. Some hand time to get down in the cracks, otherwise painting is a waste of time.

$50 might be worth it IF they are in better shape. As you can tell, lots of rust hidden under trim rings.

I Would spend as much time as i could but basicaly i dont have the ability or the money to get them sand blasted.

I did mine by hand, being broke at the time, but I have some peak-through rust now because I missed a couple of spots with the sandpaper. Or at least didn't hit them good enough.

You can get the correct color paint (Argent) at most auto parts stores in a spray can, so it's not like they can't be touched up if problem spots develop later on. Re-sand that area, and re-spray.
