this is what made me decide on what motor to build. i am going to build an intercooled twin turbo 6.5. these pics are a marine motor, but is basically the same as a truck motor, besides injectors, IP, and pistons, oh and the extra turbo. can you say 400hp? :saweet:

it wont be that hard. im not using that exact motor, and plus.. i have a 3" body lift that gives me more room
 
The primary and insurmountable obstacle keeping you from successfully using an engine like that in your truck and making the same power is cooling. The ONLY reason marine 6.5's can be built for so much power is because they have an endless supply of cold water to cool with. Put that exact engine in your truck, doesn't matter how good your rad is you'll melt the engine.
 
i may be way off on this but with the right radiator and mostlikley another remote mounted radiator might cool it if a high flow water pump and a good fan setup/ health diesels or possibly a electric setup, does anybody know what this setup would be good to cool?
