So long story short, I have a 350 and the freeze plug under the drivers side motor mount has popped out and I need to get it back in. How do I do this and will I have to pull the motor?

if under motor mount that bolts to block . . . basicly remove engine . no easy way to do it .

sad part is there cheep and fairly easy to install with bearing race/seal driver set.

but my question is why did it pop out ? ? ?

Use something to lift the and hold the engine in place, remove the motor mount, since you said the old one is already out, use a large socket and extension to pop a new one back in.

It can be a bit tricky, but can be done. I assisted in replacing one like this on my truck a few years back.
