Any idea how I would get these damn screws out, I decided to custimize my fuel pressure regulator on my the TPI and make it ajustable instead of buying the overpriced one, so I got the top off the fuel injection and and got my torx and they don't fit cause there are these pins in the center and none of the torx I have got a hole in the center. ANY IDEAS

i know they make the tool you need where to find it is another thing. but i think you could probably grind that nipple out with a dremel tool or die grinder.

ooooooo! that's an Idea :D a dremel, since there's no way to get a tamper proof torxs now I'll try the dremel thanks. :saweet:

Or a punch and a swift blow from a bfh to knock out the nipple.
You should be able to get a tamper proof torx bit from Autozone or Orchard supply. I think I remember seeing them there.

my wife bought me the dremel for my birthday a couple years ago. i said "now what am i gonna do with that little thing" man i use often.

I sell a 12 in 1 screwdriver in my Appliance parts store , # trtd-1 . Has 4 common tamper proof torx and of course phillips and flatheads adn 1/4 and 5/16 nutdrivers .

Its made for techs that service microwaves with tamper proof torxes :D

I just bought a set of tamper proof torx bits at Kragen for less than $15. I always hate the socket adapters with all the bits cause teh bits fall out, etc, but this one was actually pretty good. Had the ball lock thingy in it to keep the bits from falling out and everything.

But yah, not hard to find, just go to kragen. Its made by their brand of tools, whatever they sell....

Good luck!
