I see the trail with a passenger as $82. The trail and truck is $42, so that would be $84. Looks like you get a $2 discount on the truck and passenger price?

As far as permit cost, they only care about people. Driver and passenger cost the same. When I was doing the permitting, the BLM asked for a vehicle count for their record keeping, but it had no influence on the permit cost.
This is somethin a lot of people misunderstood about the permit requirement and was why a lot of events got letters from the BLM letting them know they were in violation and needed a permit for their event. They thought, "Hey we only had 20 rigs on the trail and the permit says 25." But it's 25 PEOPLE. So with 15 to 20 rigs it's easy to get over the 25 people limit.

The prices are the same as last year's.
Back when I was doing the pricing, I front loaded the prices knowing people weren't paying for passengers or at best paying for just a single passenger on a single day. Then the actual passenger registration was much less since I had already tried to capture most of that cost with the initial registration fee.
To any coming to Moab, the park is still reserved for Friday evening.

I just got word ORD is still providing food including some yummy dessert.
Will be there. This may be my last BB, so tired of this foolishness from the County. Going to find other places to explore, that appreciate outside $$
On one hand you want to say FU and go somewhere else, but on the other you don't want to let them win.
yeah If I enjoy my trip, my mind may be swayed. I might even book the cabin again then blame the county counsel when I cancel.
