Hobie237 on here needs a set of u-bolt/spring plates for his K30's 14FF. I know someone has a set or a dozen sitting around.

Errrrmmmmm...factory...he's got a M1008. Whatever is factory.

That is why I asked... the one tons have two styles available from the factory. Top mount with the round u-bolts or bottom mount with the square u-bolts.

I think you have spent more time as an owner of an M1008 than myself... but I think the last one I dealt with was the bottom mount style. My memory gets kinda fuzzy when I have owned over 500 trucks in the last 20 years though.

Good lord!

Lemme figure it out to be sure.

I think...

Looks like bottom mount.

That's what Big Ugly has and it's original so that's what he needs.

I thought all 1 tons had the bottom mount setup? Top mount u-bolts can bottom out on the frame mounted bump stop bracket.

I have seen both, but the only ones with the top mount are probably either swapped or didn't have the overload springs on top of the main pack.

Even without the overload, they still can hit... at least I think so. On my burb, I'm running the 1ton rear, springs, shock mounts, and hangers. They don't quite clear and can crash into the bracket on a hard landing. It could just be from a minor frame difference though.

That reminds me I still need to remove/trim the bump stop brackets.

Damn you!

Nah, it's cool. We'll find him a set before too long.
