friendly warning - replace fuel hose line on 70's k5s

I'm replacing the fuel hoses and lines on the 78 k5. The rear on the tanks are original. I found them to be very brittle and cracking in places. I live in the NW. It is important to replace these/ check these fuel hose lines.

My mechanic shop recently had both of the tanks out of my 77 K5 to repair leaks, I thought the hoses came out of the top?

Where is the 2nd tank mounted? Ive never seen two factory tanks in a k5.

my 78 k5 has one tank. they came with a 32 and 41 gal tank i think. I have the larger. i took the tank out and replaced it with a spectra premium tank built in canada. really nice tank. much better the oem.
