Friggin door striker

The square nut for the door striker seems to have fallen out of its cage Has anyone had luck with a magnet? Or do I need to cut a piece out then weld it back up?


Christ I thought they were breaking into my truck alot before, it will be alot easier with the door wide open

is it a K5 or a truck. k5, well youre SOL i think. trucks you just pull back the speaker thing if you got it and hold it there. i hopt to god for you its a truck.

yup its a k5. I figured as much.

No I've done it with a magnet ,it can be done....If nothing else you will have to cut an access hole and patch it up after...
