Chasing down a starting issue. Truck starts and runs when I jump the solenoid, but I replaced it as it is cheap and easy. Started chasing back wires and found this...

And runs back up between the starter and exhaust manifold into a big melted mess.

Awesome. Guess what I'm doing today.

And later I get to yank the dash (around my cage) and un**** more of the same around the radio.

I think there should be a law that when you buy a vehicle that the P.O. has fumble focked with a hack wiring job, you should be able to find said P.O. and choke the living shat out of him with wire and zip ties.

I think there should be a law...
It's defeated by the term "As is." :doah:

But, if ANYONE feels yer pain about PO hackjob wiring... it's me.
The only thing I haven't had to rewire, was the battery cables.

I'm NOT kidding.

- I pulled up my carpet, and found five constant leads,
sandwiched between the carpet, and the steel floor.... :doah:

- Speakers power wire went: Bat.>8g>12g>18g>12g>8g. :dunno:

I'm going to burn my truck when I'm done with it. I don't want to be a PO, no mater how nice I think I've done things. :)
