front drv shaft a little short.....what's an easy cost effective fix? running 86 blzr 6" procomp lift. spacer? shims? both? where do i look, only one i found was superlift. are there others? a lot for the "sami" crowds, will one of those work? need about 1-2 of distannce

special shout out and awesome thnx for ya'll help on the steering arm mess. sure enough dragged axle from under truck...swung 3 times with big sledge...popped right up. :D

thnx, laters, rich

I have a Superlift d-shaft spacer I used to run when I had an 8" lift and it was a good piece... never gave me any problems.

Sure, with enough $$$ you can get anything you want. But the d-shaft spacer is a good option for a lot of guys on a budget.

i wanted to do the spacer, but i think i need more than on 1", plus go to the work and it still don't reach, i'm gonna b pissed.
i know your goona think i'm stupid but.....i haven't cut the "y" pipe yet, it seems to b holding it up, would it b holding "back" too??

i should not have had to change drv shafts with a 6....thats why i did it, hell if i had known that i would have went with 4.
i mean i read my books and listened chit chat for a while???????

Yeah I'm not sure why it doesn't reach. My truck is around 4-5" of lift right now and I run a stock from d-shaft with no spacer.
What does your drivetrain consist of? The front shafts must be different.

every truck is different, and its more likely to have to have it lengthened on the trucks ive installed em on.
