My K5 is lifted 6" (unknown lift, no blocks, tcase drop, dual front shocks) with 35's.
Im pretty dead set on going to a 4" lift and 33's. I dont offroad and dont really have a need for 35's.

Anything in particular I need to watch for if I were to swap the lifts out?

Also what is a good brand to go with? I actually like the way it rides currently it still rides like an old truck but doesnt put your head through the roof on bumps.

Tough country is a good brand. NOT to be mistaken with ROUGH COUNTRY.

Watch for driveline clearances, in case driveshaft's were lengthened for the original lift. Also shocks may not work the same.

okay ill check them out.
just thinking aloud, would 6" lift with 2" tcase drop be the same as 4" lift without the drop as far as driveshafts go.

I would try taking it out. I don't like t case drops. It helps the rear driveshaft angles, but hurts the front the more you drop it.

Also, Offroad Design here carrys tuff country stuff, and can get you hooked up with all you will need.

Get a cheap pinion angle gauge from Harbor Freight or somewhere to measure your pinion and driveline angles. The difference between 4 and 6 doesn't seem like much, but on a Blazer that's where you have to start making changes in steering, driveshafts, TC, etc. I've been very pleased with my front Tuff Country EZ Rides; firm but not punishing. A tip: Blazers tend to sag in the rear, so go 3" in the front 4" in the back, or go 4" all around and put an EZ inch in the back to keep the truck level.

Good advice about the lift height. I went 4 inch all around and an ez inch in the rear. Makes the perfect ride height and angle for me.
