from a 44 to 60

No not exactly, 10 bolt and D60 use the same lines (10mm = .393" banjo) and the D44 uses a 7/16" = .4375" banjo fitting. You might get lucky and be able to run the larger banjo fitting lines with the smaller 10mm banjo bolt without it leaking but i would change to the correct line since we are dealing with BRAKES.

yea i like having brakes that work... thats weird the older 44 uses a bigger banjo than the 60.. well thanks for the info, i'll be ordering me some new lines,, it could use some fresh break fluid anyway..

Then I guess I got "lucky" cuz there was a Dana 44 in my truck before the 60 thats in there now :p:

I think the first year of D60 (1977) used 7/16" banjo bolts but i've never personally seen one that used them. So YES, you got lucky i suppose. :D

Question relevant to this thread. IF i had an older Dana 44 i wanted to swap to a later model dana 60. what type of adapter or lines would i need to run? and where would i find this type adapter

swap the lines. easyer and safer in the end.

you are prob doing a lift also. so longer lines would be best.
