I am parting out my 1974 K5. The trans went out and I gave up on the project. The suspension was custom built in May using 1 3/4" .120 4130 Chromoly tubing with 1 1/4" and 7/8" heims. It uses 16" King Shock Coilovers and has cross-over steering on a Dana 44. This lifts the truck around 6" but it could go higher by adjusting the shocks. All the brackets are welded on. I paid $6000 to have this built, over $3000 in parts alone. I ran out of money and now need to pay off my bills.

Im selling everything, this includes: axle, shocks, links, heims, cross-over steering, 2wd steering box and lengthened driveshaft all for $3000. The suspension is still on the truck so I can cut it off or you can just have the stripped truck and cut it off yourself or build it up. It is registered and I have the pink slip. The truck is located in Garden Grove, CA. You will have to come get it, I'd only consider shipping if you don't want the Dana 44.

The cross-over steering was custom built to clear the suspension and won't work with leaf springs so I'd rather sell it all complete. Sorry about that!

This would work for a Dana 60 axle I believe. You would just need to buy and weld on the correct brackets to your axle. I can help with locating the brackets that fit.

Sorry but I'd really rather just sell the the front suspension complete or the entire truck for $3000. My last resort is to start parting the suspension out.

Man too bad you're giving up on it... looks like its the perfect setup for hittin' up Oceano :)

minus axle?

would you be interested in shipping the front setup minus the axle and what would you want for it without the dana 44?

This is a sweet rig! If only you were closer! Bump! btw could I get a pic of the driver side coil over mount and any others you would like to share.

Thanks!
