Don't hate for this one cause I haven't done it yet...
I was looking for a lift but didn't want to spend too much and what I came across seems pretty good but I've never heard anyone with front lift block.. I currently have a6 inch but I want to to a couple higher.. so I found som 2 and 4 in blocks... what are your guys' opinions on these things

Please don't add that block to the front. There are extreme lateral forces at work there. Your steering and the complex angles of the front axle will spit that block out in short order. All you can really hope for is that it doesn't decide to do it at 60 on the highway. They have caused more than one roll over wreck.

If this were a trailered rock or mud rig that will never go on the pavement, I would be inclined to say go for it. If you intend to drive the truck even a small amount do us all (other drivers) a favor and don't do it.

Okay first off they are not blocks, so you need to change your title, they are called mini packs. As someone who lived through the 70's and 80's when guy's were actually being dumb and double and triple stacking blocks and using them in front I can tell you that this is way safer than blocks up front.
Now all of that said I still didn't use these on the front of my F350. They won't pop out like is said above if they are properly installed but they will cause the front Springs to windup and long term will damage the spring. You can do almost the same thing but safer by adding over load Springs to the pack but arch down. But your best option is to buy actual lift springs designed to work with your truck, it will ride better and be safer long term.

There is a reason these are only offered for a f350 from 2000-2004. Those trucks have a panhard that helps to support the side load.

and ford is 3" wide leafs . .

gm in our vintage is 2.5" wide leafs . . .

as said don't do it that way .

if 2 more inch do a 1" zero rate front and rear with new ubolts .

then new poly body bushings and a 1" body lift . . new bushings will def help and the 1" body lift will get you the 2" total you want.

I like the post the way it is... so the conclusion is a little bit mixed here... I see no, maybe and sure...

I wouldn't go over the EZ-inch for blocks...from all I've ever read tall blocks are a bad idea.
Someone mentioned EZ-inch and a 1" body lift, if you just want a little more height that would do it without being dangerous. Plus the front to rear positions on the EZ are nice. All together that's maybe a few hundred $$?

Nope. As mentioned above the fords may work a little bit better with these because of the panhard bar setup on the front axle. If you do it, you will regret it down the road. Are you just after a budget lift? If so where are you in this crappy state? I have a buddy who is selling a 4" lift. They are superlift HD's and are very stiff, but they would be way better then those blocks.

Wouldn't dare suggest that lift blocks in front are ok.... but they are VERY common on semis...
