Front and Rear Gear sets the same?

I was searching 4wps for gears and their website says that the Front adn Rear 4.11 gears are the same product number.

Is their website screwed up or are the gears the same for both axle. These are 10 bolts.

When I bought mine a many moon ago, it was explained like this" the front axle turns the same direction, thus running on the "coast side" of the R&P gear" hope that helped. unless you want to go for the reverse cut gears thats a whole nother ball game!


Oh and forget nice people over at 4wpw, Randy's ring and pinion will beat their price, and the customer care is in a whole different realm then what passes for normal! ( They kick ass at randy's)

SO bascially they're the same, but the front is installed at a different side? so theyre installed oppostie of the rear? maybe. lol

The gears are the same and installed the same way. The front axle is just turned around backward with steering knuckles added.
