Ok I have a complete pull out drive train, motor tranny and t-case out of an 04 chevy 2500 I am working on putting into my 70 k5 blazer. So i am looking at putting a ford front axel in since it has the drivers side pinion and I will be converting to crossover steering.

Will a dana 50 or 60 from a 97 ford f-350 bolt in or will i have to do some mods to get it in their???

Or what does bolt right in?

Any other Ideas??

I don't know if a Super Duty axle will work or not. Measure the distance between the springs and compare to yours to find out. I'll bet a super duty will be wider, but there's only one way to find out.

An earlier (pre 99) Ford 60 will pretty well bolt in, just need shock mounts. Same with a 78-79 ford 44.

78/79 ford D60 is a direct bolt in for our years.

Others will work also, just need to relocate the spring perches.

I know of an 87 for sale currently, has 3:54 gears
