Front Axle ID

That's what I was afraid of. :frown1: Must have been swapped in at some point. Thanks for the quick reply.

Just curious...

Were all crew cabs equipped with a front D60 axle?

This truck's a base model with a 350, TH400, NP205, 14 bolt FF. Only options are the A/T and A/C.

Only 1 ton trucks/crew cabs got the D60 from 77-91

It appears that mine was previously relocated to another vehicle. :doah:

I just bought an '87 Crew Cab without checking the front axle first (see first post). Other than that it's a great truck. New engine with warranty, straight rust free body and pretty clean interior. Everything works. It'll be a great family camping/light off-roading vehicle.
