Front Axle????

Is there another option to the D60 front axle for the K5's /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif? I can't believe the prices out there for a D60 /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif! There has to be another direct bolt in/minor mods axle thats as beefy as a D60?

Nope, just a D70 I guess....the money you would sink into a 10b or a D44 to get it near D60 strength would be a few grand so just save up for the 60...

True, true. I was going to put shafts and joints in my 10 bolt but it would have cost $984 for ORD shafts and CTM joints plus shipping. I got my D60 for $850 after a bit of searching. Could have had several for $1250 if i hadn't wanted to look.

the deals are out there.. but they just need to be had..

i got a rollin chassis dodge for my bud with d60 front and back with 4.10's for FREE /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

plus I bought a fully running truck for parts for $500.. sold my d44 and the 14bolt for $250.... Also I know a guy that from time to time gets front d60's for $500.. he doesnt have any right now but when he does i will post.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
