Does anybody know the size of the bolts for a front bumper on an 84? I snapped most of them getting the bumper off, gonna try to go wheeling today, but with the tow bar, need bolts for the bumper so it doesn't get ripped off.

I need the bolts for the bumper/mounts, and the side braces that go on the frame. I'm pretty sure they are still standard not metric. Don't have the truck local and no hardware stores where it is....

The ones in the bumper are 1/2"-13 (coarse thread) carriage bolts, i.e. rounded head and with the square thing inside. If you put a tow bar on, you may switch to normal bolts. Stock are about 1" long; again, with the towbar you'd need longer ones, seems like 2" would do.

The braces I believe are also 1/2" coarse, but I donno about length. 1-1.5" would prolly do.
