ok, so does everyone know what I am talking about when referring to "trail ready's front bumbers"? who also makes a big, beefy non tubular bumper like this? anyone? in the market to buy, but would like to compare it with something else.

got it, thanks :D will track 'em down and check it out.

Buckstop makes nice bumper too. A friend of mine has one on his Blazer and loves it.

that buckstop bumper is a great looking item!! guess what im saving up for now!!!

they are kinda spendy, but what a chunck of iron... and where i live the deer are thick.. im tired of banging up my bumper on them. i want something that will take them out and not leave a dent!!LOL :D

I can buld U a bumper like what U are looking for. Would be about $300 bear + S&H. Let me know if U are interested.

are you talking about a bumper like buckstop or a tubular one. cause im not into the looks of tubular bumpers. to much like a jeep!

Bumper hitch class specifications

The Kennewaw Mountain Multi Carrier bumper doesn't seem to specify a tounge weight or max towing capacity for their bumper anywhere on their website. I have seen alot of custom bumpers that have trailer hitch receivers in them, but most of them don't specify a trailer hitch class. A class IV hitch is for towing up to 12,000 lbs with a max tounge weight of 1,200 lbs. How do custom rear bumpers with hich receivers compare to a class IV hitch?

Good question about the ratings.

I did a search but couldn't find it. But it was a class III or IV hitch with a large size piece of tubing welded to it and wrap around body armor and to make the hitch a rear bumper. Wish I could find the picture, it looked great.

Can anyone help remembering ???
