Front bumper ?

I'm mounting this bumper on my blazer. I made new mounting brackets to move it up and in closer to the front. Just wondering how much the body will flex on the frame. Should I worry about the bumper touching the body (pic#2).

Unless you have some beefy brackets , it can move . This is how much mine moved until I got the tube bumper with the little box in the middle to stiffen up the frame .

It probably won't touch much unless you actually come down on the bumpers wing. They are not super tough so they will flex if you put weight on them. Put a jack under it and raise it, you will be able to watch the bumper flex and see what it will do.

Where did you get that bumper.
I have been to the warn sight but i can never seen to find one for a k5. Is it that they just dont list it under that ofr do all chevys work for each other?

I got the bumper and some other parts from a guy selling them on CK5. The bumper is new never installed. Sorry I know this is no help.

Warn discontinued the CLASSIC bumper for some stupid reason. They've been discontinued for about a year.

yeh dude a chevy is a chevy though some time the way a bumper is designed you have to cut off the front of the frame horns. as to the first question i made an 8" C channel bumper its off the body 1/4" and it hits on flex..would i worry about it no but then thats me
