correct... blow off, thinner, tack if nescesary, zinc.. you don't HAVE to use the zinc. if you do, you can either just let it flash off a bit and prime right on it, wet on wet, or you can let it dry and hit it with a scuff pad too..
once primed, if you need to final wash a panel before put more primer or paint on, damp towel/dry towel with denatured on paper towels...
paint prep is usually 320 or 400 for single stage solids... if rattle can i'd suggest the 400.. for mettalics and clear jobs, 400, 600 if your anal....
