was this front clip ever offered on a fullsize pickup or was it just the k5s and suburbans? the reason i ask is there is a long bed in town with this front clip and i wanted to know if it was stock or swapped on.

The 4 door 1 tons wore that front for a few yrs. Only the 4 door trucks tho.

There is a 1/2 ton long box running around my town w/ that nose also. There was also a short step side on 40s for a while too. Its an easy swap on 81 up GM trucks. All it takes is a new radiator support, grille and the lites. (and a few wiring pig tails) For 73-80 it requires a hood, fenders, inner fenders, hinges, springs, cowl cover, and some cutting on the cowl to mount the new style hinges. Also needed are the above mentioned parts for the 81 up.

I would guess the K30's would have gotten that front end in 89, 90, and 91. I've seen plenty of the cab and chassis one tons with that front end as well.
