Front D60 Locker

Looks like I'm just gonna go for the Detroit. Time to start saving. STill debating on slling one of my D60s to fund my rebuild. Otherwise, it may take awhile to get it done.

For the front a Detroit. For the rear an ARB. I run dual Detroits.

I think in the final analysis, it comes down to the type of wheeling you do. When I did my poll, and the Detroit was the winner, I noticed that a lot of the Detroit proponents did a fair amount of rock crawling. I live in the SF Bay area and a lot of guys who spend most of their time doing the Rubicon and Hollister SVRA pretty much all stick with the Detroit. I was leaning that direction except that I probably won't ever do the Rubicon, and even Hollister is iffy.

My rig will see a broad variety of conditions. It will drive long highway distances to Nevada to Bodie, Carson City, Elko, even to Utah to wheel. I may take it up to the snow in the winter. Most of my wheeling is offroad exploration. I wanted to be able to have locked front when I needed it, but not get squirrely in other conditions. I'd look seriously at what you are going to do with your rig.
