Ken, I just picked-up my 35-spline outers for $78. I did much research on this subject, I found the aftermarket outers are much to expensive. Why do you want to go aftermarket? Spicer outer should be strong enough (a fellow wheeler is running 44" tire, No problems).....Well, if you need some sources, Try Sam Winer Motors in Ne Ohio @ (330) 628-4881 talk to John, he knows D60s like the back of his hand.....Oh the Spicer pn. 3-82-871.

Really I just wanted to know what is out there so that when it gets to the point that I cant take it anymore, I know what I can do. Chances are I will not do that far. Thanks for the part numbers though.

$78 a piece, right?

I am already figuring that aftermarket stuff will be outrageously expensive.

Yah, $78 each. I saw in May 02 Peterson`s 4wheel, on page 93, Drivetrain Direct has Hubs and outers for $339. www.drivetraindirect.com 1-888-584-4327.

$78 each sounds kinda high for 35 spline outers. I got mine for about $140 for both (spicer), and I thought that was kinda high....I'll have to search for the receipt tonight to see where I got them from...

Anyhow, I didn't know WARN made them, but I heard rumors that Yukon (Randy's R&P), were developing Chromo D60 shafts, but don't know when that will be....I hate Randy's though, had a bad dealing before....
