Front differential vs rear?

Hi, i recently picked up a 1984 k5 blazer. I noticed my front tires stick out further than the rear. I measured from the space between the inside of the tires and the front is 58" and the rear is about 55". Is this how they were stock? Or is one of these replaced with the wrong one? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

That is the way they came from the factory.
