I put on a 6" suspension lift on and now my front drive shaft binds. The lift included a transfer case drop. I had a hard banging as soon as I locked in the hubs, so I crawled underneath. The problem is on the transfer case side of the shaft. What I see is that the U-joint is banging into a pair of tabs on either side of the shaft. I was going to have a drive shaft place grind off the tabs, to see if that fixes it. Maybe I need a longer shaft or different style joints? I was just curious if anyone else had similar problems. I hadn't heard or seen any issues like this. I don't know. Still fairly new to the offroad/upgrade world.
