my swaped in 400/205 is in need of a front shaft. when i bolted it all up to check for clearence and length i found the c/v head isnt letting it drop the correct length needed.

this is a 88 th400/205 flat flange output on the front. and in a 1ton truck with 4" lift springs in the front.

i got more drop out of my old style first gen c/v that bolted on the yoke front output from the 465/205 i had in it before.

any help would be great. thanks.

i was gonna take out the CV joint and just use one ujoint and the flange yoke up at the tcase. the tiny tube would be nice for clearance and angularity is crazy.
