I just put a set of 4" springs on the front of my blazer. At this same time I put my D60 in. Now the Drive shaft wont hook up due to the angle. The shaft will not go down enough to connect to the yoke on the axle, it is binding at the CV. What is the fix for this? I would like to try out this setup but I can't until I get this figured out.

It binds at the current ride hight. Can I grind it enough to double the angle? I think that is what it would take.

mine is ground down pretty good and ive got a six inch front spring with a zero rate 1.5" forward. the part thats actually touching is pretty large and can can be taken down a good bit and that ought to give you enough angle.

Enough that it will still have enough angle when the suspension flexes?

I had a cv front shaft with a 4" lift along with a D44 and D60, I didn't even have to grind mine at all.

I have not had good luck with ground ones on the trail. I tried 2 and they both broke first trip out. I should have used a limiting strap to make sure it did not bind which is wha tI think took them out.
Though I did have the 52"s in the front so they flexed like mad.

you can grind down the ears on the yokes of the CV to gain a few more degrees.

i did that on my SFA s10
