So just a quick question. I got a new slip yoke for my front drive shaft, do I need to put grease or anything on it before I put it in or just throw it in there as is?

Slip yoke for the front? If you're talking about the slip splined section of the front drive shaft itself then yes that needs grease. If you're talking about a slip yoke that slips into the rear output of the transfer case then no, just put it in.
