MS Front drive shaft

I need a front driveshaft for the yoke style output on a '76 k10. It's for an np205, but I can make one from a 203 work.

I have one that is cv by the case with u bolt and u bolt by the axle. What is your OAL?

I don't have one to measure and the truck is not assembled yet for me to measure, but if it's longer than i need, like one for a 203, then I can cut it down to the correct length.

The length of the shaft is more determined by the transmission and adapter length. So some combos are 23" in length some are 28" and both could be with a 205.

You seem like a good guy and as much as I would like to sell a driveshaft check out this place. They sell new complete shafts cheap. Plus it will allow you to find some direction on length and then maybe I could sell you a used one cheaper that you could modify.

The one I need uses 5/16" bolts that thread into the CV portion of the joint like this one.

I have a sm465 with figure 8 adapter. After looking at their site it looks like I need the 24 5/8 length one, but I can cut down a longer one if that's all you have.

O.L. compressed 27", w-w 12.5", I noticed upon inspection that the double cardan assy is loose as is the ball. The splines are also loose.
