I just finished putting on the 4" rough country lift. I lowered the tranfer case like they said and now my exhaust and front drive shaft have about the space of 2 or 3cd's tall between them. Is this normal? Will it ever hit when flexing? Thanks Mike

A lot of guys that don't just remove the y-pipe reroute it over the top of the shaft.stockk5 said:argh...hm i know a friend who welds for a living.. and bends tubing all the time. ill prob run it for now then have him make a custom bend there.

Duals running off of the stock manifold or with headers?BURBicon said:cut of the y-pipe, put a cap on it, and add a complete exhaust system to the other side. My truck had dual exhaust when i got it, but that's probably what i would have done in your situation.

the shorty driveshafts on blazers are lame. i want to do a SYE and CV joint shaft.
if you dont smog your truck, go ahead and run duals. if your truck needs to be smogged, it wont even make it onto the machine before they fail it.

Mine have no issue with clearance, the pipe is really close, and has rubbed alittle, but nothing to extreme to cause any concern with, BTW it is still the stock pipe. I even run with sway bar disco's for that extra travel, still no problems. As far as vibrations, i don't have any problems, but this is probably due to the longer driveshaft of the Burb, the angles are not as harsh as the shorter Blazers.cbbr said:Did you have front driveshaft/y pipe issues with your 4" lift.
