1/2 ton status
I recently converted my th350 to a 700r4 od in my 72 burb. now my stinkin front d.s. wont fit. the pan is waaaay huge plus i installed an aftermarket aluminum deep pan so it is even bigger.... I am thinkin of deleting the c.v. fron the t-case side and running straight u-joints. has anybody done this??? if so any problems? btw i am running the stock 205... my mechanic suggested the 208 but i wanted to retain the beef of an all gear case.
