I just got my 60 put in the front and I think my front shaft is too long. The joint on the driveshaft has no more than one inch left to compress as it sits level in my garage. Does this make sense? How do I find out if I'm good or not? I know that with only a 4" lift, you're not supposed to have to do anything when swapping in the 60.

when changing from 44 or 10 bolt to 60 the pinion is farther back .

might need a shorter one. if so its cheeper to cut down the tube than lengthen with new tube.

i would remove the shaft. then measure full drop / full compression / and flex side to side .

all this at the flange on tcase to diff yoke at the yoke end were the ubolts go in to hold the joint to the yoke.

then compress the shaft and measure and extend it. if it falls in to the middle then good. if not going to bind and break somthing.
