Does anyone know if it is possible to get an emergency brake for a front dana 60?
Like a caliper/ cable operated one?

Ughhh line lock the front brakes is about all you're going to get. Mechanical linkage + steering would be no beuno. Weird question btw :D

lol. yeah kinda weird question I admit. What I was thinking of doing was going with front and rear e brakes with 2 hand operated grab handles. I have been contemplating a NV4500 swap and 2 brakes would give me full control while on a hill.

I'm probably missing something here, but couldn't you use the Caddy calipers that people use in the back for disc swaps. Might need 8 lug stuff up front, if you don't already have. Probably wouldn't work very well as a cutting brake either. But would do ok as a holding brake. I don't see any reason why you couldn't find a flexible enough cable to use either.

Edit; nevermind my sugestion, didn't see you were running a 60. Although you could downgrade to 3/4ton size rotors/calipers and possibly make it work.
