I checked the brakes pads, Discs, ball joints, repacked the bearings, and the truck is still bouncing only when I apply the brakes to come to a stop.

does it bounce or shake. is the steering wheel bouncing around.

Yeah, I'd have to be with jason and sweetK30 on this. Check out the rear brakes. However if it bounces a lot you might want to think about replacing the shocks as well.

The shocks are new I might have to look into the rotors.

dont wast your time turning them. if you have it all off that far. then pop out 6 studs each and get new. cuttin rottors suchs anymore. i do it from time to time at work.

Obviously check the obvious, Wheels balanced, Have you done any hard 4 wheelin, when was the last time it was balanced? Does it bounce when you are driving or just braking? What about a proportioning valve? Maybe it is stuck applying 90% to front and 10% rear brakes. I don't know if that could happen, or cause your problem, but its worth a look. Hope that helps

obviously huh??? That problem wouldn't happen even if he had NO rear brakes, so proportioning valve is no prob. He already said its only when braking, and unbalanced tires would wobble all the time.

Its pretty easy to test the rear. Just get some speed up and pull the park brake release. Apply the park brake pedal at the same time and if you feel vibration, its in the rear.

that's a good method.. just make sure you have the release pulled out like he said... otherwise you could cause an accident.

Could be a missing weight on the rear shaft. That was the prob. I found on the crewcab. The "new" shocks could be bad also, or at least one of them. I put some new Explorer Pro Comps on a F250HD I had and one was bad. Check them and see.:wink1:

Ok I replaced the right rear brake cylinder put new brakes in the rear, and adjusted the brakes no more bouncing :woot:.
