Hood isn't closed quite right so it looks crooked.

One for perspective.

It's kinda hard to tell now but I also lowered the nose about 2". This was one of the more involved mods I've done and I'd say if you like body work its right up your alley. I don't like body work but that's an advantage with flat paint and camo to boot. Things hide nicely. All in all I'm happy with it. The nose took me a solid 5 days of work. Now it's time for the tail section. Should be easy by comparison.

that looks great. i like the one piece front end. /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

Definitely more to come. Tomorow I will start the tear down for narrowing the rear. I think it will go easier just because I don't have a goal as to how far I want it narrowed. The front I was shooting for 24" but only made it to 20". I'm also going to be building a soft top for a small area. Just enough to keep 4 seats in it. The rear seats will be geared toward my children, small. Then the paint scheme will be finished. Then I suppose I will start removing some of the lift. It's got 12" in the suspension now. I would like to drop 8 of that but don't know if that will work yet.

Thanks for the compliments everybody.

I used the grill to help hold things together while I was narrowing and in the process it got the torch. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

Very very nice quality looking job, really like the paint too!

Nice job, I like to do something like that on my blazer that I am building.Did you build any support braces to stiffen it up and hold the fenders and hood together. How is the radiator held in place?Any pictures with the front tilted up?It would be great to be able to work under the hood and not have to stand on 5 gallon buckets /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

First, its looks awesome! I was going to paint my project truck orange and that stripe idea crossed my mind but I like the Grey and black ALOT! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Second... is there enough radiator showing to cool right? Or is that going in the rear? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
