Front End Width k5

Does anyone know what year they changed the overall front end frame rail width on the K5. I have a 1986k5 and I am looking to purchase a 1991 and my dad seems to think the plow from the 86 will not fit onto the 91 due to a frame rail width change. Any help is appreciated.....

Didn't they all stay the same until the body style change in '92?

The frames are the same on a 86 and 91 K5, there should be no width differences.

Yup, frame is the same for Blazers from '81 to '91. Also Suburbans, same years.

The pickup body changed in '88, so Pops may be thinking of that... but for the Blazer, no problem.
