I know of a junkyard in my area that strips and piles front axles in a pile. I am looking for a dana 60. I looked at the picture but its hard to tell between a 44 and 60 is there an easy way, he said I could have any axle for $75; $100 if I want the tires/rims. I aleady have a 44 and don't need another

thanks

The Dana 60 is much larger than the Dana 44 and the fact that it weighs at least 100 lbs. more.

Look at the top of the steering knuckle, on a Dana 44 or 10 bolt there are 3 studs holding the steering arm on. On a Dana 60 there are 4 studs holding it on.
