Front fender emblems

What is supposed to be holding the K5 emblems on. Is it a screw form the back side or two sided tape. PO ran a screw through one

original was with nuts on the plastic posts. Have to have the fender off to do. The new way is an insert in the hole the plastic post fit tight in.

i used silicone on mine with a clamp to hold it tight over night. 4 years and not even loose . . . . . . . yet. i couldn't keep them on any other way

Inserts are metal I got mine from Dealer.
