is this a normal angle for the shackle on a 12 inch leaf spring on an 88 k5 with the ord shackles
My 8" superlift springs (stock length) with 6" shackles look like that also. Also have the FUSH.
yup, that's about normal. you can move the rear hanger forward, like what is done when you do the 52" spring swap, and it will help your flex and ride better.
is it just grinding off the rivets and drilling new holes a little further or is there anything else to the process cause if it'll make it ride better anything to get a little nicer ride would make it better
ya, you just move the hanger forward using the upper, forward most hole already there to position the hanger, and drill new holes. you will need to make longer shackles also. read up on the 52" spring swap. your just not using those springs.
Is this a cummins?
Yes, a 92 block.
