i had a heavy load in a trailer and got stuck in my field. so i locked the hubs and when i went to go there was a loud clunking noise. and know the driverside hub is stuck in the locked position. any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

there should be a spring that releases the locking thing, that spring may be broke. thats the only thing i can think of off the top of my head. its time to pull the hub and investigate

This happened to me once on a Ford. I put it in neutral, let it roll just a little bit while I turned it. Was totally stuck until I let it roll.

Maybe that will get it unstuck but I would have to say there is a problem somewhere internally.
