The front output bearing on my 205 seems to be shot. I Was messin with the 4 wheel low tonight and heard some loud "THUMP" while going from neutral to reverse. Got under the truck and found that I could move the front output up and down about a 1/4". I twinsticked it myself and modified the shift rails it is part of a doubler that I built about 9 months ago I never rebuilt the 205. It has always made a little noise while cruising down the highway but nothing to bad. Does anyone know why this bearing would just completely fry? I'm gonna try and drop it tomorrow I'll get some pics and post em up.

i thought that happened to me one time, turns out the nut case loose holding the flange on.

Yep, had the same thing happen to my 205, Yoke nut worked loose. Bad part in my case, it let mud and dirt get behind the shaft seal and damage the front bearing.
I planned on pulling it and rebuilding it, but found a rebuilt one with warranty and bought it instead.
The old one is sealed up in my barn. Gonna rebuild it any day now.....

Just pulled it in the garage and found that when I was "moving" the front driveline up and down it was the whole 205 pivoting on the input shaft. I sheared the 4 bolts that hold the 205 up. NWF adapter I should have held the 205 up with something
