How's come nothing new happens to the front/main page to this website?

I have noticed that the product reviews and techincal articles are pretty much untouched, seems nothing has been added for a couple years. I could be wrong, but I check them every now and then, and I swear it hasent changed or had anything added to it in years.

I've noticed the same thing, it's a typical useless home page (nothing personal, admins!)

I've run a lot of forums and my magic solution is to run vbadvanced CMPS on the home page (which is free, BTW) and put recent Classifieds posts on the left side, vendor ads in the middle, and recent posts on the right side. Once I did that over 85% of visitors visited the home page first.

I don't understand why most message boards even have a homepage.
