My front pinion seal has been leaking for a good while and I am finally going to fix it instead of just topping off the gear oil, Heres my question is there anything tricky I need to know or is it just pull the nut and yoke and replace the seal? also does anyone know what that nut should be torqued to? Thanks in advance.

What axle? A Dana? Juts pull th eyoke off, change the seal and put the yoke back on, put loc tite on the nut and tighten it down til it wont go any tighter, the shims set the preload.

I'd say go fgt yourself a new nut. They're less than $2 at my local driveline shop. Don't know what to torque it to, but on Randy's Ring & Pinion site, they have a table of torque values for pinion nuts.
