I put my 73 back on the road .The stock bucket seats were down to the seat frame`s.I was given some suburu buckets and I just bolted some 3"wide plate on the stock brackets.Holly crap these things are tall.

It looks like the stock brackets go up in the seat bottom 1 3/4"rear 3 1/4" front. So i`m at least that much to high since the suburu seats are bolted to the frames at the bottom.

I have on the drivers side 14 1/2" at the front 10" at the rear, passenger side 15 1/2"Front, rear 10".

could some body measure there stock seats different years are o.k just looking for a baseline before i cut and weld on the brackets. I liked the heights my 88 had.

Thanks Jon

I can`t believe no one here owns a blazer and a tape measure.I was just going to get a ball park figure.went and looked at one on craigslist and got a measurement. you can delete this post.

from floor to what? bottom edge of cushion? can do right now

mine is in the shop...however I have a seat frame out in the garage...

I got 7" on the front and 4.5 inches on the back that's from the very flat bottom of the bracket to the lowest edge of the seat bottom

thanks i settled at 14" in the front floor to top of the cushion and 11" in the rear to the top of the cushion. the side bolsters on the seats are just below the console.

the 1987 blazer that i measured to get ball park figures was 13" and 10".
